Griots In Concert

Griots In Concert features Linda H Humes and Sanga Of The Valley.  This dynamic duo carries on the age old tradition of African “Griots” with their drumming and storytelling.  Linda is the founder of Yaffa Cultural Arts Inc, and her many talents include storytelling and acting.  She received the 1999 Silver Parents Choice Award for her CD “Kwanzaa- A  Time To Celebrate.”  Sanga is a Trinidad born master percussionist, who has worked with many artists including Carlos Santana and The Grateful Dead, as well as on several movie scores.  Come hear their stories at 2pm!
